The Appropriated Press was founded in early A.Da. 87 (2003 Anti-Vulgar) by David Hartke, Olchar Lindsann, and Aaron Andrews in the wake of the first American Post-Neo Show, Re: Pete: The Novel: The Exhibition, and ran eight issues through early A.Da. 90. During this time it represented the main published venue for the Post-Neo community in Columbus, OH during the collective’s formative stages. A perfect-bound volume of the full run is planned for sometime in A.Da. 92, along with a corollary on disc to represent the collective’s exhibitions and actions; but in the meantime individual issues are being made available again. Precise dates of publication are basically irrecoverable, but this is believed to be the order of publication.
